Iced Cheeky Monkey Pops

These are one of my most favourite snacks. They are made from wholesome ingredients but they taste just like the ice creams and chocolate I used to love. Adults will love these as much as children do, they are quick and easy to make, and totally hit the spot when you are craving something sweet! 


  • 3 large bananas
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon of raw cacao powder
  • 1-2 tablespoons of the nut butter of your choice (optional)
  • Crushed nuts or desiccated coconut (optional)
  • Cake pop sticks or lolly sticks


Peel your bananas and chop your bananas in half. Put each half on the end of a cake pop stick. Freeze.

Remove your bananas from the freezer once iced, coat each one in nut butter and refreeze.

Melt your coconut oil, then mix in the raw cacao powder well until you have a smooth chocolatey paste. Remove your banana pops from the freezer and coat them in the melted chocolate. Before the chocolate sets, dip them into your nut or coconut coating. Serve immediately, or pop them back in the freezer until you fancy them.
